Heating Your Home: Benefits of Trane Furnaces

There are many things you need to take into account when choosing a new heating system for your Tampa home. Luckily, Trane furnaces are the obvious choice. Every company claims that their merchandise is the best, however when industry experts say so too, it becomes credible. Trane was awarded the 2010 Breakthrough Award by Popular Mechanics for the Year’s Most Transformative Products.
Many of our customers at Millian-Aire will ask why they should choose a this type of furnace, and we always give them these three reasons:

  1. Total reliability: These gas furnaces have hot surface igniters, multi-port burners with no welds, and self-diagnostic controls, all combining to make them an obvious choice for both their reliability and efficiency.
  2. High efficiency: The greater the efficiency, the grater the savings. SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) measures the electrical cost for a unit with normal operation. In the United States, the Department of Energy has directed a 13 SEER to be the lowest amount for heating systems; all of Trane’s goods run from a 14.5 to a 19 SEER. Their most efficient products are recognized by Energy Star, and labelled as such.
  3. Better air for your family: These furnaces can also be paired with an air filtration system that removes up to 99% of harmful particles and allergens from your home’s air. With a variable speed blower, which is inexpensive to operate, the efficiency of air cleaning is increased while operating at lower speeds.

Trane heating furnaces in Tampa operate at 95% efficiency, which means at 95% of the fuel you pay for is used to heat your home. To achieve this, the furnace will react when the room air temperature drops below what you set in your thermostat. Once the heat is created, it is moved to a heat exchanger that then heats up the air, which is then pushed into the rooms of your home.
